| It is interesting to see that the new Labour Party Prospective Parliamentary Candidate Councillor Ruth Cadbury says that this development is "not a done deal". She has obviously noted that all the main residents groups in Brentford and West Chiswick oppose it including Brentford Community Council. She is also probably aware of widespread objections from thousands of local residents. Ruth Cadbury has considerable experience of planning mattersd both as a Councilor and in a professional capacity. If she thinks it is unsound, then her views will carry a lot of weight. If she opposes it, the rest of the Labour Councillors may feel they will have to oppose it also. If that happens, the planning application will be rejected. |
