| ''widespread opposition from thousands of local residents''. that is an exageration. the oppo is from a few close by chiswick residents, the posh roads adjacent to Kew Green, and a hard core of Liberal based groups......who object to any modern. progress in general. Two brentford community groups are Liberal dominated with addresses in such as The Butts, Hardly the voice thousands of Brentford locals. Lionel Road is in Brentford and for Brentford people to decide. If the application fails, is deferred or delayed, then the BCC will be taken over at their next election, by real supporters of our town. They wont be able to avoid that democratic process defeating their attitude |
