Guy I wish you a continued recovery and good luck in getting the specialist NHS treatment that stroke victims need. To say the roads are better than they have been for a while is a joke and I remember talking to Steve Curran on my doorstep some years ago about the poor state of the roads, he told me LBH roads were better than Richmond Borough roads. LBH I see are committed to installing 2000 electric charging points across the Borough. Who will that benefit? Not me and many others because we are unable to afford the eye watering prices for said vehicles. The ULEZ will hardly improve the situation. Only this week TFL were advising drivers to switch off their engines while stationary because of high pollution levels. The gridlock around the local area was I think at its worse around March when it took me an Hour and a quarter to drive from Hanger lane to Brentford in what can normally be driven in about 20 minutes or less. |
