| I'm always delighted when I have managed to get off a bus safely...hanging onto the hand rail near the exit door and swinging a leg onto the pavement! When I then look up and realise I've landed on a bus stop island...I'm filled with a little anxiety. I haven't arrived on the pavement yet. I'm about to cross two cycle lanes often occupied by ... you know what! And as for cyclists on the pavement as you exit a shop! |
