| Been looking for some hours now and it's rather elusive. First I've heard about these insane Bus Islands being installed. Hugely dangerous to pedestrians. Last week a rather inebriated passenger started getting lazy and with the rain, traffic and cyclists who cannot stop on a sixpence made it very tricky to stop away from this persons more clumsy than threatening behaviour. This is the reality of Bus travel and being on a street in modern urban Britain. It is nothing like the utopian computer generated images used to sell such stupid ideas. Things like hearing, balance, visual and mobility issues, dementia plus carers looking after people with difficulties as well as parents with over exuberant children, let alone those many who are left to fend for themselves are being discarded by these exponents of policy because it is an irrelevance to their arrogance and mentality. Just makes matters worse. |
