| I agree with you about the cycle lane taking 6 months. I am meeting the project manager this week so will I hope to get the reality and minimise disruption! I also agree about the bridge, but there are reasons for that: it is an entirely new bridge because the old one couldn't be fixed. That meant agreement was needed from the Canal and River Trust, plus planning. The latter was agreed in January. This is to be made somewhere overseas and will take some time with Brexit, lack of materials etc. We are promised it will be in by the end of June but I will make no effort to defend it. I agree about HS2 (or 1.5 as it seems to be) as well! |
