Dear Sarah Sorry but you are wrong. The traffic you saw is obviously a figment of your imagination and there is rarely any traffic or ambulances / doctors etc trying to rush up Twickenham Road to the hospital to save lives. Councillor Lambert and his cronies assured all that the impact of the closure of Church Street was carefully considered by very clever and well educated Councillors and it would not cause any additional traffic or problems or diesel fumes or traffic jams or chaos. On the contrary, the closure of Church Street is for the benefit of everybody living in Isleworth & St Margarets and everyone passing through or attending West Middx Hospital. |
