Couldn't agree more - Hounslow's planning enforcement team are not exactly pro active when it comes down to it. That building looks nothing like it did, or should, it was the last of its kind in the country and featured in Private Eye it was so unique. If it weren't for the stupendous efforts of local people in Isleworth getting the message across to councillors on the planning committee and fighting against Hounslow's officer's recommendation to approve, the Duke of Northumberlnd would by now be building over a hundred dwellings on allotments in Park Rd. What we cannot do now is take our eye off the ball due to meetings between the Northumberland Estate and the Supreme Leader that we are not party to. |
