| Three years ago I did an inspection of the six Tower blocks in Brentford for the now disbanded Tenants Participation Team. I highlighted that over 80% of door closers on landings needed adjusting. One of the main reasons people wedge the fire doors open as they bang shut against there flat. I put forward that it would take a carpenter two days to complete the job. As four months ago (last time I was in the blocks) nothing has been done.My remit was fire hazards landings and stairwells only. |
