| I well remember a friend who had bought a flat on Ivybridge being landed with a bill for £30,000 for new windows and some works outside. There is absolutely no way that one two bed flat could possibly command a bill like that. After all the council doesn't purchase things like windows in one and twos, if anything leaseholders should get a better deal than an ordinary bod doing similar work on their home. |
