| Money where their mouth is? Some of the most vulnerable people in the land have money deposited with the Court of protection. I wonder just how much they have tucked away in those deposits? We have just had a letter concerning a relative - giving the new rate of interest the Court is paying for this money, invested on his behalf. The wonderful protective system which takes over when somebody cannot administer their affairs is now paying 0.5% interest on the account they hold his money in. Glory be. |
