| Guy does seem keen to distance himself from any wrong decisions taken by Hounslow Council in recent years. Local authority planning committees are well known for being comprised of people who will make the ‘right decision’. Hounslow is no different. By Cllr Lambert’s own admission former leader Steve Curran would put pressure on committee members to approve applications he favoured. But Steve was a ‘great bloke’, so that was alright. Perhaps Guy could tell us which planning applications he supported and which he voted against. Guy is about as Green as my cat. He’s using the party as a convenient vehicle for reelection. What’s the betting he will vote for his mate Ruth Cadbury next time round even if there’s a Green candidate standing? Pretty short odds no doubt. |
