| The Waterman's Cinema was usually full or near to full. We went every week sometimes twice a week. Helped in part that my wife was a GSK employee and got in free or at 50% discount. It was affordable in anywise and had excellent sound and image quality. It certainly kept the place alive over the past 15 - 20 years. Not as plush as the new place up the road, but that's unaffordable to us now, so we now go to Acton - which is 5* on all counts but a pain to get to and from. We go less. But that's because there is not the mix or eclectic program that somehow Waterman's and Richmond Filmhouse used to do so very well. |
