| How well attended are the local cinemas? And who attends cinemas nowadays and to see what? Probably Watermans was the last cinema I went to and that wasn't often and that was more than 30 years ago. The last time I was going to go there it was a bit more recently and for some jazz but that was cancelled due to not enough interest and we never picked up going. I went regularly and often several times a week to Watermans when there were fabulous childrens music classes for those but we grew out of them and then we were more aware of what was happening there but being able to get a babysitter and getting away from work in time often made seeing a film too stressful an addition to life. There were some really memorable family pantomimes at Christmas. |
