Hi Guy. I had so much to out out, several black bags, that I wanted to take it to the charity bins. Small amounts we do put in the green glass box in a bag. Trying to keep it dry is difficult so normally we keep it inside the house and put it out last thing on the collection morning. Out dustmen are not jobsworths, which we really appreciate. We had a duvet and pillows to recycle and they can only go in the waste, yet our household bags nearly fill the bin. I spoke to the team and they said they would take them if we put them in a sack and they also said to be careful not to wedge them into the household bin, cause they don’t come out when they tip the bin into the truck…. |
