I think that's a naive take on that perhaps some people DO use HH's fly tip removal as a service, I think that is exactly what happens a lot. Also the fact that the 'council's lawyers don't like naming people' is pathetic. I'm sure most people who have been caught doing something they shouldn't won't like being caught out and their identity known, but is that a valid reason for taking the easy option? It's no good Hounslow talking tough, and then turning into a bunch of wimps when some idiot gets stroppy. No wonder fly tipping is on the increase, they could also look at the restrictions on what people are allowed to take to the tip which must have a bearing on dumping stuff. Personally I have no sympathy for any twit who gives money to someone to move their junk and then either doesn't turn up or fly tips it. There's enough publicity, ask anyone you are going to get to move your rubbish if they have a waste carriers licence, they will give you a waste transfer note (receipt) and that also provides a paper trail. |
