| We had a fly tip in our rear access road overnight on Saturday, which meant people with garages were trapped. The access road is the responsibility of LBH housing dept. So to enable people to get in and out - two neighbours moved the tip to one side, and it was reported to housing and two local councillors. The reason being that there was a clearly readable label giving a name and address on some boxes. I have asked specifically that enforcement action is taken, also we noted several CCTV cameras locally that may well have picked up the vehicle used, so some door knocking by enforcement might prove useful. I have already heard from housing who are arranging for a crew to dispose of the rubbish, hopefully the councillors will ensure that the enforcement is followed up. No excuse as far as we can see. |
