| I suggest Guy, you read my threads again. At no point do I say Morrisons are to close on any given date. I hope it does not. In fact what I raised is the possibility of Morrisons not being granted a lease extension and the site subsequently demolished and left derelict. What Morrisons have stated to Cllr Curran is pretty much the stance Morrisons have always taken. That they do not want to vacate if at all possible. But what I did suggest is that You, your colleagues and professionals within LBH are prepared for a worst case scenario. You do not have to go far back or look far away for a history of calamity on developments where the rug has been pulled from under the presiding authority. Richmond Ice Rink being one. Firestones being another. |
