| Morrisons certainly will be sorely missed by the community. As will the jobs for the 150+ people who currently work there. We were told at the planning meeting when the permission was given to Essential Living (who have indeed been restructured https://www.propertyweek.com/news/two-founding-directors-leave-essential-living-as-m3-restructures-developer/5089561.article) that they were examining options for a temporary supermarket and provision for home delivery to those who need it but, 9 months on, it appears little or nothing has been done about this. At least nothing has been communicated. Surely the community has a right to know what is happening in this regard as this development will erase a key community asset for 2-3 years? Perhaps all this will be resolved before the May elections? |
