| Forgive me for being cynical, but I can't believe the demolition works will start any time soon. If you look at the south side of the High Street the majority of businesses closed - many of them as long ago as May 2015, yet they could still be trading. Between the Council, planners and developers there seems to be a complicit agreement to close down the majority of businesses in Brentford, without any real appetite to either demolish the existing, derelict buildings, never mind replace them to any agreed time scale. It is scarcely believable that Brentford was once the proud county town of Middlesex. And look at it now..... |
