| This sounds the death knell for the abandoned suburb of Brentford. Never mind the frail and the elderly (though I do) but where on earth are we all to go for our daily needs? Ironically the only options are bus or car, adding to pollution on our already over-polluted roads, as we have to travel to Osterley or Chiswick to buy meat or fish, or just about everything. Could not Morrisons lease be extended until there is a realistic chance of one of the dozens of new build projects in the town actually being started? I despair. |
