I tried to post this yesterday but TW8 wouldn't accept my posts. Steve Curran has received a response from the Morrison's estates department, as follows: “Morrison's do hold the benefit of a lease that expires in June 2018. The lease, however, grants protection under the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954, and as such Morrison's will remain in occupation and trade until the relevant party serves notice to renew or terminate the lease. In principal Morrison's would look to extend and renew the lease subject to agreeing commercial terms.” At present there is no planning permission to redevelop this site as the landowner has not agreed to the conditions specified when the planning committee assented to the proposals, so there is no approval either from LBH or the GLA/Mayor of London. Hounslow planning are endeavouring to get updates on the landowners' plans for the site, without success at present. |
