| I note that the mechanical sweeper still cannot manage to sweep park and public footpaths and nor can the manual version. Just how can a mechanicla sweeper negotiate tiny streets like Brentford has when the streets are full of parked cars? They've tried this before, but hemmed in with CPZs there are no places to move cars to. It's a load of hot air. The cleaning will be just the same, certainly won't be better. But I did notice that street cleaners were working on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Did they get time off in lieu or overtime? Or were they forced to work with no choice? |
