Nigel, fair enough about the difficulty in removing the structures i.e. not impossible but structural effort. Probably similar or less amount of structural effort required to establish one single goods docking and distribution point somewhere up the canal. You can't have it both ways - easy to establish freight traffic infrastructure, but difficult to remove a pontoon. And you've not addressed the other issues raised. So long and thorough answer on one point ... but an incomplete and unconvincing response. |
