Asking the kids what they want for supper as you walk around the supermarket is making a rod for your own back and not a good example for them. It is better for them to be given a meal of good healthy food and not to think that they can order a different dish as if they are at a restaurant. If they are hungry enough they will eat it. Lounging around stuck to a screen doesn't help and is more likely to increase irritability at the type of meal being served and it becomes more difficult to change to something healthier once you've fallen into the chips with everything trap. |
