| Yes Alison that's correct. Hence the renaming of Grove Park to South Chiswick - Hounslow have now decided to cut the area into 2 sections so residents living towards the western end, ie Strand on the Green are not allowed to enter the eastern end, ie "Grove Park" and drive straight through and out at either Sutton Crt Rd to cross the A4 or at the Hartington Rd traffic lights to access Chiswick Bridge, Sheen and Barnes and visa versa of course. Like all other areas NO CONSULTATION was ever made - since the pandemic very few cars pass through Hartington Rd during the rush hours as more and more folk are working from home, or have lost their jobs altogether! There is absolutely no need to close off any roads whatsoever within SotG/Grove Park - we are a single entity and want no road closures which will severely inconvenience we residents. |
