Shocking isn't it! but seemingly completely fine for someone to leave it that way. Paths are just mud. I have emailed the council my pictures and also copied in the junction2 email It is absolutely criminal that it is acceptable they leave it in this state. It is completely heart-breaking to see a park , I have been taken to since I was a baby, destroyed and is devastating for the people such as Linda Massey and Mary the grounds keeper, who work incredibly hard all year to make the park an enjoyable place to walk, to be left to pick up the pieces. How is the elderly man who keeps the football pitches safe for children supposed to rectify a quagmire in time for their season? Throwing cheap topsoil on the mess just is not going to cut it like they attempted last year when paths are no longer paths but mud. I wheel my 8 month old daughter around the pond and already think I should send a bill for the damage the paths there do to a pram never mind the state they have been left in now. There is junk everywhere, supposedly re-usable cable ties left on paths , trees broken and tire tracks all over the lawns. It is bad enough as residents the local park is blocked off and you have to endure drunken people wandering streets and alley ways , one drunk man walked into my 10 year old and only apologised when I confronted him, stewards seemed to be completely oblivious men were urinating in the street. I think it only reasonable they explain what they plan to now do to rectify this, and at whose expense seeing as there is a lottery grant with plans already for the park and that should not be used for this! |
