If it is of benefit to our argument I have taken photos (just by chance the day before the mowing, I also have a photo taken yesterday showing brown dried grass (I am not sure how this is supposed to recover to enable a second flowering later in the year as I think was suggested) Tonight the bottom field is almost totally covered with large tentage. I am appalled how much area the festival has fenced off this year it has increased yearly i believe) I had to keep my dogs on their leads as there was vehicles using the footpaths left for the public use. Whilst I realise that the council make money from this event could they not use the park later in the year!! An article I was shown last week suggested that Boston Manor Park was a tranquil place to visit and that much of the park is suitable for wheelchairs and prams, (you must be kidding when you see what is happening already to the paths being damaged by vehicles.) |
