That would be wasteful for plastic bottles when they are the easiest to separate to recycle and there is plenty of other more difficult to recycle plastic stuff being incinerated in EfWs.  This really should be for end of life stuff.  We need to continuously look for ways to reduce our waste, find other uses for what we don't want or need and to reduce our use of the earth's finite resources.
