| Almost everything can be recycled, its the lack of joined up thinking in how it can be sorted and returned to the appropriate facility. All the focus on recycling and waste has been on profit and costs and imposition of methods that lack versatility but have caused confusion and loads more mess. And still whole areas do not have proper recycling. The bits that worked were meddled with and the bits that don't remain unsolved. A problem all over the UK. But inflexible council policies have not helped the situation and seriously damaged the willingness of all to recycle by creating cumbersome and confusing criteria causing more to be less bothered. |
