| Parks used to have drinking fountains. Boston Manor park had a lovely rose coloured granite one with continual running water. Forget that coming back. Shops want you to buy cans and bottles. Once upon a time you could take bottles back to shops and get money. The trouble was the shop owner often said, "Thats not one of mine". Well in those days we accepted that. Today is different, there will be violence I would have thought. Sounds far fetched? Well we have just seen a shop keeper killed for refusing to sell Rizla papers to someone. |
