For several weeks it has been a bit odd around Brook Road, Grosvenor Road, Lateward road and Mafeking Ave.
There have been a few individuals lurking about, sitting on front garden walls and skulking in the shadows.
There's been a lot of strange car movements at night racing around the streets, yesterday a teenager was riding a full size scooter around the park and then racing it up Grosvenor road a high speed - until a resident bravely stood in the middle of the road.

What's so worrying is that I've seen these people about but they are not actually doing anything wrong.

One of my neighbours cars got damaged in the summer by a driver with an anger management problem known to most of the residents. Even though several witnessed it and even passed the owner parts of the perpetrators car,
the police response was completely negative.

Consequently, it makes me think twice about calling the police. Now I wonder should I have called about the pair skulking about last night at around 10pm?

Should I politely confront these people as I usually do? 9 out of 10 times they are not up to anything. Certainly not once they have been spoken with.

Now something really bad has happened and not unexpectedly as I am informed that there has been a spate of crime locally.

So why have I not seen a single police patrol all year?
