I came home on Friday to find a note through our door from the Hounslow Homes repair team stating that they have now cancelled the fitting of a smoke alarm because we were not in at 10am when they arrived

Firstly I am not a Hounslow Homes tenant so they obviously knocked at the wrong door but the big question is why are they spending time and money to replace a smoke alarm when surely a tenant could do this themselves unless they were infirm or disabled which none of my neighbours is!

Perhaps this repair man could be more useful helping to speed the work up on the two family properties on Twickenham Rd which have been empty for months?
