It is a shame, Vanessa.  If it were a private property wouldn't somebody be chasing the owner after 6 months warning them they should be working towards making the house available to the market? (rent or otherwise).

This run of properties are lovely and I was aware that a great deal of money was spent of renovating them so they should be a show case for HH on the main road.  I viewed them as that, especially the smaller cottage style ones alongside this run which are a treat!

I often wonder why they don't inbuild some regard for maintaining the front gardens when they draw up rental agreements.  People coming from flats might be given advice about how to start gardening and a few blades of grass would change the roads outlook along there.
