| Don't think so at the moment Neil. Spoke to Dell today rather than Steve, it looks like they have been having discussions with the landlord for sometime with regards to the rent being increased in this present climate but as usual it appears to have fallen on deaf ears & the only option was to close rather than keep losing money. It's a pity as it was the only decent real ale/foreign beer/cider/perry pub in Brentford & with reasonable prices. Also served great Thai food! I wonder what the landlord will do with it now? Leave it shut so that it falls into disrepair & then sell it off for housing as has been happening all over the country? P.S. Six Bells also closing in a week or two! |
