(Ooops, I must change that heading.. my apologies) Amongst the many people present was Ian Moore CBE an ex-Commanding Officer  in the Royal Marines,and a distinguished resident of Brentford. Here he is before the Parade starts. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo This, for me, was a memorable moment as the soldiers marched up Boston Manor Road with Colonel Ian Moore CBE, in green beret, bellowing “left, right, left, right” adding power to the forward progress. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Brentford’s distinguished resident ex-Colonel Ian Moore to the left..and the Mayor Cllr Paul Lynch to the right. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo At the end of the Memorial Event,everyone present was invited to the Inverness Club next door for refreshments, Here  Colonel Ian Moore has been speaking with 88 year old William..and its an opportunity to  see his  the CBE medal. Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo It was a wonderful event.
