| I do remember the ridiculous defence of the Church Rd traffic restrictions that were put in place, despite a 76% majority against them at 'consultation'(consultation after the decision had been made seemingly). He said words to the effect that we had to do something about global warming, not realising obviouslty that they diverted traffic would just sit, engines idling,on Twickenham Rd for 20 minutes longer than it needed to.Talk about fobbing off people with genuine concerns.I pointed out that he wasn't elected to make sham attempts to reduce global warming and might consider listening to and supporting the wishes of his constituents, which afaik is what he was eected to do.It was a long time ago in the scheme of things and I think he has helped some constituents improve their circumstances since. |
