| The current Morrisons car park is rather tucked away and not obvious to anyone looking for a stop and shop space. I suspect the new Lidl car park will prove more popular. It seems Cllr Lambert isn’t keen on promoting passing trade. Perhaps he swallowed the LCC propaganda that cyclists spend more than anyone else in local shops, although that might not be enough to keep those outlets in business. Certainly Mother Rugger wasn’t swamped with custom when I went there this morning. I’m sure they would like a bit more passing trade. Lambert might be an expert in something but it’s hard to ascertain what that might be…. |
