| Not really a competitor as that is pointed at a different market (though that doesn't mean I'm entirely confident - running a cafe is never easy and the current world is not making it easier) I'm not sure exactly how running costs are dealt with but the 'deal' to run the cafe will be designed to make it viable. My understanding is the offer was acceptable to Friends except they would have had to find a volunteer to run it. Various cafes seem to be working well in Brentford despite paying commercial rents/rates/salaries so I guess it won't be impossible in BM |
