| I asked the question of the Chair when she first told me. They had someone pencilled in to run it but their circumstances changed and the original individual could not and the Friends were not in a position to replace. We are hoping the cafe will be open much more extensively than it was before. Just for clarity, the cafe end of the 'hub' was only rebuilt (pretty much to the same requirements developed by the Friends) because the old cafe which we wanted to refurbish was found to have severe structural problems. The park already has a resident park manager and I believe an apprentice joins in January. The Hub will provide some training rooms, offices for the on site staff and (I think) public toilets so this is a lot more than the old cafe (and paid for by the National Lottery) |
