| Biggest problem is not local traffic it is the huge amount of through traffic from the several trunk roads that converge hereabouts. That won't change by penalising local vehicular users who have just as much right to make a living and move around as those who commute in. Trouble is it is milking the wrong people and forcing local people into disadvantage when it comes to making a living. Same with Crossrail or the Elizabeth Line, the real benefits are for this west of Slough and in similar areas the other two directions.. GLA zone passengers are likely to rarely get a seat and yet pay into TfLs coffers in council tax, while those outside don't and get the benefit to the full. |
