| I will have to look more carefully at the proposals. I do wonder, though, whether some people commenting on increased bus journey times actually ever get a bus. I can't think that there are many bus lanes on any of the routes I use, in fact the only one I can think of off-hand is the short distance covered near McDonald's and, I think, the stretch up from Kew Bridge to Fountain Leisure Centre. Then there is that controversial no parking strip stretching from Verdict to Goddard's - is that a bus lane? (poor visual memory) I realise cycling and walking aren't for everybody but journey times by bus would be shorter if there were fewer cars on the road. |
