| I don't mind paying to park at hospitals, most of which are well served by public transport but the arrangements in London have always been quite bad, like having to pay and display so having to guess how long you would be, machines that took only coins etc. Out in the Chilterns where my parents lived, you just took a ticket on entry, then could pay with coins, notes or cards on exit. Just like an ordinary car park. Not need for number plate recognition or any such faffing about. |
