| On a related point, I do find it rather absurd that Mary Macleod is moaning about the developers 'snubbing' her because they aren't willing to meet with her just at the moment. After all an application has been under consideration for ages and now Officers have produced a report for committee members to consider, and Members are expected to determine the application this week. Ballymore aren't going to change their application this late in the day. So what would be the point in the developers meeting with the MP, or vice versa, at this particular point in time ?. The cynic in me thinks its nothing more than an attempt to curry favour with some locals ahead of next year's elections, and the whole purpose of requesting a meeting at this point in time was because it would obviously be turned down so she could claim the developers had snubbed her/local residents. |
