| Anyway you wanted some figures so here you are (back of another fag packet): For nice development the selling cost in Brentford/chiswick border area is £7k per m2. Go check some estate agents and divide price by floor area. A typical new build 1/2 bedroom flat is about 56m2 so sale cost is £400k Build costs for a typical 5 story steel framed apartment building - including all extras ie including land, legal, professional etc. are about £1800 per m2 So, cost to build is 100k and price to sell is 400k.
