| Some information from the 1910 Kelly's Directory! A Mr George Parsons was the Baker at No 49... not sure which year it closed down..but Chiswick Library(Local Studies) would have an answer perhaps. Yes, I've seen "The Old Bakery" on the gate when I've been out delivering leaflets at Election time! My 1938 Kellys here says that No 49 is a greengrocers...William Wade's. Across the road there at No 47 it has always been a grocers/ Post Post..even back when Edward VII was on the throne! |
