| What a great little road that is...long terraces of Victorian "cottages"..and always a joy to wander down. As you probably know..the butchers "Jack Lockyer" was at No 6 opposite the popular Lord Nelson pub. There is a picture of the street in Gillian Clegg's book "Brentford and Chiswick Pubs" well worth buying or getting from the Library....loads of piccies!! Isbn 0-7524-3723-2 There could be a picture hanging in the Pub...and there might have regulars aged over 80! |
