The simple fact is too little is known for sure. Revealed today on BBC Breakfast by a Professors Blog was that the virus is now mutating to cause neurological problems. This is the risk. It may mutate. It could mutate to cause nothing but an itchy eye or it could mutate into a mass killer. They simply don't know and because testing is so minimal and so far behind, no-one knows its they had it or not. And we are entering Hayfever season. That puts another is it or isn't it into the mix. But the void between intellectual experts and pragmatic expertise is a bit too wide and belt and braces until absolutely sure is the best option. But after all this. A big rethink need to be made on how we live. Over densification and urban overcrowding is clearly connected to the death rate hotspots, so the wisdom of tower blocks and small flats and minimal space may not be acceptable any more. |
