| The emergency vehicles thing worries me - I have seen both police & ambulance vehicles, with siren & flashing lights, have to turn at the roadworks - do emergency control rooms not know of the roadworks? I myself cycle up to the road block and walk my bike down the pavement - and have had to advise cyclists trying to cycle down same, past pedestrians, of the stupidity of their actions. The main danger there at the moment though is cars & lorries doing u-turns, completely ignoring the cyclist trying to get through (i.e. me!) |
