| I think we all might miss the signage once (I thought there was a sign on the bridge but must admit I couldn't recall for certain), but I still think there's a large number of drivers who are ignoring the signage and chancing their arm that the closure might have been lifted. I've done it myself in the Alps once, stupidly ignored the signage and for about 5 miles was able to drive along the road past roadworks on the verge, until I eventually got to the point where the work had reached and had to U-turn. For us it'll be a shame when the road is re-opened, it has been so peaceful without it !. |
